The Mariucci family Foundation was formed in 2011 by Steve Mariucci to promote and advance his philanthropic works and to involve his family in those endeavors. The purpose of the Foundation is to raise funds and make grants to other non-profit organizations and cause-related events and programs. The Foundation organizes, hosts, and is the beneficiary of various fundraising events to support it's charitable purposes. This includes football camps for athletes with Down Syndrome, charity bocce ball tournament fundraisers, a cause-related marathon event, and multiple annual celebrity sporting events including golf tournaments, among others.
Grants are made to charities having proven track record of delivering services to and supporting under-served and/or physically or mentally challenged youth and their families by providing access to sports, recreational and therapeutic programs, nutrition, education, and healthcare. Grantees of the Foundation include, but are not limited to, charities such as the Beacon House, Football Camp for the Stars, YMCA, Special Olympics, Dickinson County Cancer Closet, School Programs and Athletic programs consistent with the Foundations charitable purposes, and more.
